For Science class the kids made a volcano using flour, salt and water, they mixed all the ingredients and shaped their volcano. Right at the top they used a bottle cap, that they pushed just enough so it wouldn't be visible from the sides. Inside the cap they put baking soda and mixed vinegar with red food dye. The now red vinegar was poured on the baking soda inside the bottle cap and a VOLCANIC ERUPTION occurred!
We all enjoyed this project very much!
The kids loved the eruption so much, they kept adding vinegar and baking soda :)
